The fun part for me is not just the painting or the technique, but creating the colors. I don’t know they exist until they show up. I continue to develop my style and to evolve as an artist.
When asked what type of artwork I do, my answer is “I create friendly abstracts straight from the heart, always with the hope to put a smile on your face. It might be a bit cheesy, but I mean it.”
The name of my studio is a perfect reflection of what I hope to achieve through my paintings. Amarte Art Studio is what I decided to name my studio. AMAR means to love in Spanish, and ARTE is art. AMARTE is a play on words that together means to love art but also, and most importantly, to love yourself.
